Hi I’m Sarah, the founder of the Good Flower.

I am a rural girl at heart, now living in the small seaside village of Oakura, Taranaki.

I am a lover of colour, agriculture, travel, lighthouses and the seaside, books, coffee, my little Fox Terrier Poppy and of course I love florals.

I believe that the foundational purpose of flowers on this earth is to bring joy, and I want to help spread that joy through my floral artistry.

When it comes to floral design, I draw my inspiration from my memories of the wild yet elegant cottage gardens of English countryside. I want the floral art I create to feel like it is still living and growing - wild, textured, and full of it’s surrounding nature.

A value that has been dear to me from the start is styling to the seasons, and sustainability. This means that you will not find plastics or floral foam in your designs, and flowers are sourced from my own garden, and from local growers.
